Graveside services will be held for Miss Ashley Rae Skipper, 29, at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 4, 2021, at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Minden, LA. The family will receive close friends and loved ones Sunday afternoon between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, Haughton, LA.
Ashley came into this world on April 4, 1992, in Minden, LA and quietly passed away on September 30, 2021, at her home in Haughton, LA. She was surrounded by her family who loved her deeply.
Ashley was our special angel in disguise. She is now free to laugh, play, run, and do all the things she was not able to do here on earth. She may be gone from our world, but she has a light that will shine forever in our hearts. Her precious smile would light up the darkest of rooms. Fly high our sweet angel. We will forever hold you in our hearts until we meet again.
Ashley is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Walter and Virginia Skipper; and her maternal grandfather, Billy Martin. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Paul and Sherry Skipper; sister, Brittany Hathorn and husband Justin; her nephews, Kyler and Kaleb Hathorn; maternal grandmother, Bobbie Thurman; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
