Bella Grayce Cassell, 11, adored and beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and friend, entered into her heavenly home on April 11, 2026. She was born on June 12, 2014, in Bossier City, Louisiana. Bella attended Evangel Christian Academy and was a member of Cypress Baptist Church. She was a bright and beautiful free spirit who brought joy and happiness to everyone.
Bella was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Denise Horton, and great-grandparents, Mary Gray, Harry and Ann Haines, Bill and Betty Cassell, and G.E. “Bud” Crabtree.
She is survived by her loving parents, Nicholas “Nick” Ryan and Amanda “Mandy” Michelle Cassell, and her big brother, Brock Haines Cassell. Also left to cherish her memory are her maternal grandparents, Terry and Carla Gray; paternal grandparents Rick and Anna Cassell, and Shelly Horton; great-grandparents Annette McDaniel, Carolyn Gray, and Dolly Crabtree; aunts and uncles Brandy Jorden (Aaron), Courtney Birky (Hunter), Cody Cassell (Meredith), Matthew Cassell (Jalyn), Wesley Cassell, and Shelby Horton. She will forever remain in the hearts of her cousins, Case Jorden, Hays Jorden, Luke Birky, Cameron Cassell, Bryson Cassell, Colton Cassell, Ally Cassell, Emilia Tate, and Jack Tate.
Bella was truly a bright light in this dim world. She was beautiful, adventurous, and carried a light that will never fade. A fearless dreamer and full of wonder, she was the ultimate “baddie.” She had an innate love for horses, especially Hershey, her beloved horse. Bella was never more fearless and free than in the quiet strength of the barn, and as she felt the rhythm of the hooves beneath her. Always our valiant rodeo queen; her mama was her biggest cheerleader. She was her daddy’s sidekick, never missing a chance to go hunting with him. She took it as her personal mission to keep Brock in line and never missed an opportunity to boss him around. Her happiest moments were spent outdoors and on the lake with her family.
Bella lived her 11 years with a spark that many search a lifetime for. She is fiercely loved and will be incredibly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her time here on Earth was far too short, but the memories created with her will last forever. Our Bella Grayce will be remembered in every sunset, gentle breeze, and moments filled with laughter. Her life was a precious gift, and we are privileged to carry on her legacy.
Services will be held for Bella on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Cypress Baptist Church with a visitation beginning at 2:00 pm and funeral service to follow at 4:00 pm with Pastor John Fream officiating.
Serving Bella as pallbearers will be Brock Cassell, Aaron Jorden, Brett Draper, Brian Fread, Cody Cassell, Doug Whittington, Hunter Birky, Jacob Watkins, and Matt Clark.
