

Celia Kay Bryan Frazier, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away on February 27, 2024. Celia was born December 16, 1944 in Marshall, TX to the late William Mansfield and Clara Sue Atkins Bryan. In addition to her parents, Celia is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Charles Howard Frazier and sister Sandra Sue Bryan.
Left with many memories to cherish are her daughters, Sherry Frazier Aiello (Billy “Hop” Foster) and Shannon Frazier Gray (Jeff); her grandchildren, Judge Alexandra Aiello Stahl (Chris), Abbie Aiello McCord (Josh), Gunnar Charles Gray, Landon Brett Gray, and Landry Kay Gray; her great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Aiello Stahl, Emilia Ann Stahl and the much awaited baby McCord; her brother, William Stephen Bryan (Jan) and a host of nieces and nephews; her friend and companion, John Schmidt. Celia’s most beloved family pet, Moose.
Celia was a beloved teacher in Caddo Parish for over 30 years. She touched the lives of many students, many who remained close to her through the years. Her career included North Highlands Elementary, Judson Elementary and Forest Hills Elementary. She was also an itinerate teacher during the inception of Caddo’s Gifted and Talented Program. She always cherished the years she spent as Judson’s Assistant Choir Director.
In her retirement years Celia found her love of everything Mardi Gras. She was a member of The Krewe of Elders. She spent many years serving on the Elders Board of Directors. She also served as Co-Captain, Captain & Queen Elder XIII. With her Krewe friends she spent time engaged in her favorite past time of dancing. Celia also had a love of gardening. She was a member of Cypress Area Gardening Club. She spent countless club hours tending to her plants and flowers. It was common to see pictures of her beautiful blooms on her Facebook page.
Serving as Pallbearers are Gunnar Gray, Landon Gray, Charles “Charlie” Bridges, Cortez “Corky” Bridges, Chris Stahl, Josh McCord, Cameron Herman and Graham Lemoine. Honorary Pallbearers are Robin Vosbury, Keith Vosbury, George Kalmbach, Brian Bond and her many Krewe of Elders friends.
The family wishes to thank the personnel of Willis Knighton Bossier Emergency Room and the Willis Knighton Bossier Critical Care Unit for the loving care they provided.
A visitation for Celia will be held Friday, March 1, 2024 from 12:00 PM until time for Celia's Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, 601 Hwy 80, Haughton, Louisiana.
Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Hill Crest Memorial Park, 601 Hwy 80, Haughton, Louisiana.
