David had a vibrant personality, marked by his love for the outdoors and a notable high school baseball career where he shone as an all-star player. His passion for life didn't stop at sports; he was also the life of any party, often found dancing, laughing, and sharing music with friends. Known for his infectious sense of humor, David had the unique ability to light up any room and never met a stranger.
Professionally, David dedicated many years to the roofing and construction industry, where he applied his robust work ethic and charismatic leadership.
David is survived by a loving family: his son, Spencer Dingler (Melissa); grandson, Gabriel; daughters, Ashley Ivy, grandson, Preston Swords; Jamie Medlin and grandchildren; James and Olivia; Emily Aldridge; brother, Tony Dingler; sister, Lisa Lomax; fiancée, Vicky Ross; and a wide circle of friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his sister, "Muffin" Dingler Ray.
David's legacy of joy, friendship, and resilience will be cherished and remembered by all who knew him.

A special thanks to fiancée Vicky who lovingly took care of David after his stroke in 2020 that left him paralyzed on one side.
A visitation for David will be held Friday, October 3, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel, 601 Hwy 80, Haughton, Louisiana 71037, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM
