Charlotte White, born on January 27, 1952, passed away on January 25, 2026, at the age of 73. A resident of Shreveport, Louisiana, Charlotte was known for her kind, generous, and outgoing nature, deeply loved by her family and friends.
Charlotte graduated from Bossier High School in 1970. She dedicated her career to education as a Teacher Aid at Southfield School in Shreveport, Louisiana. Her commitment to her work and her students was unwavering.
In 1975, Charlotte married William G. White Jr., with whom she shared a loving life. She was a devoted mother to her sons, Jeff White and Zach White, who reside in Longview, Texas. Charlotte was also blessed with grandchildren Breyden, Baylee, Sloane, and Harper. Her twin sister, Shelia Huckaby, survives her, cherishing the memories they shared.
Charlotte's personal interests included gardening, fishing, and enjoying cookouts. She cherished gathering with friends and family, making each moment memorable. Her love for her family and friends was evident in all she did.
Her legacy is one of kindness and generosity, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her. Charlotte will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends.
The family expresses their gratitude to the nurses and techs at Willis Knighton Pierremont, Heritage Manor West, and Life Path Hospice for their compassionate care.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, T.F. and Eunice Gardner, her husband, Billy White, and her brother, Fred Gardner. Her memory will be cherished and her absence profoundly felt.
Celebration of Life for Charlotte will be held at a later date scheduled by the family.
