Connie Frances Hogsett

Austin, Texas-Connie Frances Hogsett, 96, formerly of Bossier City, La, passed away on October 4, 2015. She was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on January 29, 1919. Connie retired from a career in banking at Marine Midland Bank of New York.

Services celebrating the life of Mrs. Hogsett will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home in the Chapel on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Pastor Carlton Gilmer. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Anna Trunco Orlando and Anthony Joseph Orlando; her brothers, John Charles and Frank Orlando and 2 husbands who preceded her in death, Thomas Olean Frith, and Albert Hogsett. She is survived by her children, Sharon Ann Diamond, Donna Traver and husband Mark and Ronald Frith and wife Michelle; grandchildren, Stephanie and Shannon Diamond, Michael, Christie and Daniel Padula and Joel Frith and great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Natalie Padula. She was an excellent grandmother to them all. She is also survived by numerous family members and the many people who knew, loved and respected her.

Connie was a big supporter of her church Waller Baptist and a supporter of her church in Austin, Texas. She loved knitting, sewing and was a great seamstress. She also had a love for Uno, playing cards, dancing and sweets.
