At an early age, Dan joined the United States Marine Corps, following in his father’s footsteps. Upon early retirement, Dan began his education as an accountant and received a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Avila College. Dan worked for Naval Audit Service as a Federal Audit Manager in Washington, D.C. where he met his wife, Chris. Dan and Chris recently celebrated 30 years of marriage.
Dan is survived by his wife, Neva Christine Cejka; his son, Eric and wife Melanie; grandson, Chase; and granddaughter, Autumn, from Kearney, MO; his son, Jeremy and wife Anna; granddaughters, Elizabeth and Emma; and grandson, Carter from Woodbridge, VA. Dan was tremendously proud of his sons and so loved his grandchildren.
Dan was a lifelong Nebraska football fan and rooted wholeheartedly for the Kansas City Chiefs. Dan was known for his large personality and big heart. He had a large extended family of relatives and friends and will be well-remembered for his giving nature.
Dan's Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at the Golf Club at Stonebridge Clubhouse in Bossier City from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.
