Donna Rice

She was born on June 10, 1932 in Pawnee City, NE to Anson and Adelia (Didlo) Dotson. Donna was raised in St. Joseph, MO and moved to Oklahoma in the 1950's. She was talented in arts and crafts. She was always great at knitting and sewing, then began to enjoy ceramic doll crafting. Donna was a lifelong volunteer, to name a few: Hospice of Green Country, Mission of Owasso and Wounded Warrior Project.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Edgar Rice; son, Charles James Harlan; sister, Kay Ann Dotson and brother, Orville David Duran.

Donna is survived by her son, John Wensel Rice and wife Alicia, daughter-in-law, Tisha Harlan; grandchildren, Charles Harlan, Christopher Harlan, Destinee Harlan, Ross Harlan and sister-in-law, Daphne Duran; nephews, John Duran and wife Trish and Michael Duran and wife Jennifer; niece, Renee Duran Wiebe and husband Richard; several great nieces and great nephews; step daughter, Sandra Jost; step granddaughter, Sherry Fisher Jost; and step grandson, Steven Jost and many extended family members and friends.

A visitation for Donna will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel, 601 Hwy 80, Haughton, Louisiana 71037, with a celebration of life beginning at 2:00 pm with BIshop Shaun Cooper officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park.
