Betty & Dorothy were the first neighbors we met when we moved to Magnolia.  We always remember warmly the first time we ever had Jalapeno jelly (home-grown and made by hand!) when y'all gave us a welcome basket.  And we always wondered aloud whether it was Dorothy or Betty every time we would see one of the twins drive by. We will be praying that your family be comforted at this very difficult time.

Our Families hearts go out to all of Mrs. Gandy's Family and Friends. The Gandy Family has been so good to us through the years. You are all in our prayers.

It saddens me to learn about Dorothy. I was a classmate and graduated with her in 1949 at Fair Park High School. We lost contact and I have not seen her these many years.  However, my prayers are with her family during this time of loss.

My wife, Janis, and I went to Fair Park High School with Dorothy and Betty...known as "The Hayes Twins"...we want to extend our sympathy to her family at this difficult time.

At 39 years old, I can't remember a time when I didn't know "Mrs. Gandy" as one of my mom's dearest friends.  She was truly one of a kind, and I know she will be deeply missed by all that knew her.  My prayers and deepest sympathy to her family, today and always.

Dorothy was a dear sweet friend. She was my neighbor for the past 10 years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her smile, her cookies, her jelly were all so special to me. She was a wonderful person.

We are friends of Carol and Ken and have been involved in their small group bible study for many years.  While we did not have the opportunity to know Dorothy we have no doubt what a truly special person she must have been. This is evident in Carol's stories of her wonderful mother and the sheer delight of Carol & Ken's precious pugs at the mention of the name "Dorky".
