Graveside Memorial Services for Gary W. Spikes will be 3:00 pm Sunday December 16, 2018 at Gray Cemetery Gray, Texas with Sol Hook officiating.
Gary was born July 21, 1948 in Cleveland, Ohio and passed away December 13, 2018 In Shreveport, LA following an extended illness.
Gary grew up in Vivian, LA and graduated from North Caddo High School. He was a U.S. Army Veteran (Spec. 4) having served in the Viet Nam Conflict. Gary was a former disc jockey with KNCB and if you were his friend he could always remember a story of a great time you shared together. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Vivian.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents Georgia (Branham) and Charles W. Spikes and is survived by his sister Sandra Spikes Zylks, nephew Jeremy Brasher and wife Ariel, niece Katy High and husband Bucky, and seven great nieces and nephews
