A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Georgia Ainsworth Hanrahan Foster, 85, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 24, 2014, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Reverend Billy Pierce.
Georgia was born on July 10, 1928, in Marthaville, LA and passed away on March 21, 2014. She was a loving wife, mother, step-mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed. In addition to taking care of her family, Georgia was a court reporter and owned and operated Hanrahan Reporting Service.
Georgia is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Katie (Jones) Ainsworth; sisters, Lerdie Olive and Dorothy Sauer; and brothers, James, Artis, and Preston Ainsworth. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Lane R. Foster; daughter, Kathryn Devers; step-son, Dennis Foster; step-daughter, Denise Lewis; sister, Aline Bruce; grandson, Keith Devers; numerous step-grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
