Gertrude "Trudy" Gray

A Celebration of life service for Gertrude Gray will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Bill Lott will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.

Gertrude enjoyed fishing, metal detecting, gardening and cooking. Her favorite pastime was meeting her friends on the weekends at the casinos.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Gray and son, Ricky Gray.

Gertrude is survived by her daughter, Donna Murphy and husband Jeff; brother and sister-in-law, Sonny and Sue Hodges; sister, Margie Spencer; granddaughter, Chanda Tague; two great grandchildren, Kyleigh and Kaiden Tague and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Moore, Shannon and Scotty Hodges, Gary Moore, Daniel and Mike Bates.

Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Gray.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to her special friends, Marge and Sue for all the good times they enjoyed together. They would also like to thank Thony David, her hairdresser.
