

A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Heather Alison Carr will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2015 in the Chapel of First Baptist Church Haughton with Dr. Rick Wolfe officiating. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
Heather Alison Carr, age 37, of Bossier City, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2014.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, John Gaudet; paternal grandmother, Jean Carr; and her cousin Alex Leininger.
Heather was born in Ruston on February 26, 1977. She graduate from Haughton High School in 1995. During her college years, she worked for the South Bossier Fire Department in District #2 as a firefighter and EMT. After receiving her degree in Paramedic Science, she served the citizens of Bossier and Webster Parishes and a National Registered Paramedic. However, her true passion rested in the automotive industry. Anything and everything automotive was her language. She loved her career and equally loved the wonderful people she worked for and with. She was very close to her only brother Geoffrey, and had the opportunity to enjoy one last air show together at Barksdale Air Force Base in April. She loved Kylee and Easton as though they were her how. Heather was known to man as their own personal technical support and even earned the nickname "Gadget Lady." Heather left us on a high note. We knew she was happy with where she was in life. She loved her family, friends, and co-workers. She trusted Jesus Christ as her Savior and we KNOW we will see her again.
She is lovingly survived by her parents, Dr. Rick and Monica Wolfe of Haughton and Scott and Linda Carr of Forney, TX; her brother, Geoffrey M. Carr and his wife Monique of Alexandria; maternal grandmother, Evelyn Faudet of Port Barre;paternal grandfather, Dwight Carr of Monroe; aunts and uncles Rachel and Shaun Leininger and Leon and Emma Gaudet, al f Port Barre, Randy and Jean Carr of Monroe;p cousins, Brandon Guidry of Part Barre, Chase Gaudet and wife Temi of Lafayette, Bret Carr of San Antonio, TX and Sarah Carr Rehus of Monroe; step-siblings; Robin Iman and husband Mike of Haughton, Tammy Vice and husband Toby of Columbia, SC, Richard Wolfe and wife Judy of Ruston, Jason Parks and wife Kristi ofr Shreveport and Cathy Zmolik and husband Patrick of Royce, TX; numerous nieces and nephews; very special friends, Jessica, Kylee, Easton and her entire Yokem Toyota Family.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time-of-service Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the church.
The family asks, that in Heather's honor, please send memorials to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and/or The Shriners Hospitals for Children.
