J. B. Williams

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. J.B. Williams, 94, will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 31, 2023, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, officiated by Greg Winget and assisted by Philip Strong, Clifton LeFort, and Gary Hagler. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 12:00 P.M. prior to the service.

J.B. was born July 21, 1928, in Schaal, AR and passed away March 29, 2023, at his home in Haughton, LA. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service as an educator in leadership.

Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and one sister and his daughter-in-law, Debra Williams. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of seventy years, Betty Stanton Williams; children, Steve and wife Alicia, Keith, Bruce and wife Pam, Laurie, and Jay; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; nephews, Danny Williams, and Tommy Williams and wife Cheryl; and niece, Jan Morgan and husband Paul.

Serving as pallbearers are his grandsons, Stanton, Kobyn, John, Byron, John Bruce Williams, and Brad Walker.
