My deepest sympathy to the entire family.  Mrs. Simmons was one of the kindest, most generous and lovable woman I've ever known.  She spent MANY hours with Julie and I in the pool, giving us words of wisdom and life lessons.  Her hospitality and great cooking will never be forgotten.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.  I lost my mother in 2009, so I understand your great loss.

Janet Simmons was my second "Mom". She was truly one of the sweetest and funniest people I have ever known. I loved listening to her stories about growing up in Jamestown and her working in Washington, D.C. and traveling with Colonel Simmons during his service in the Air Force. She will truly be missed by everyone who knew her.

MS.Jane you still are a perfect jewel,still a light of sunshine that was in my life!!You will be grateley missed!!Especially our conversations!I will always remenber your laugh!Evenings in afternoon!!Dr.visits,times when you wanted not to get out shower!!All the story telling!!Days were you would say I have not seen your husband in a while !Is he still cute?Tried to make me tell Mr, Dick its 4P.M. before time!!Prayers are with you Mr.Dick,We will always have that special relationship!Iwill still let you know I am here if you need something just call!Love you much!!CATHRA!!

My thoughts and prayers are with the Simmon's family at this time. Mrs. Simmons, who i've called grandma Jane, will always be remembered and never forgotten as the sweet and loving person she was. Ive enjoyed being and having her as a neighbor for the last 17 years. Ill cherish the memories I had swimming in her pool with her grandchildren in the many summers years ago and running into her on base at the BX or Commissary. She was like family to me in my eyes. Im very sorry for yalls loss.
