I’m so sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing. I knew him as a kind sweet man who loved his sons and also, of course, his wonderful wife, Brenda.
I remember their love in high school which of course carried over to our time at MVH School of Nursing and way beyond to many years a happy marriage. I remember Brenda waiting for letters from Jerry during those long quarters at school. You just knew they’d be together always. He will be missed.

    Had a wonderful time and many great memories growing up with Jerry, especially when his parents had the property in Xenia, Ohio.
    Our families were close since our Mother's were sisters, and we spent many holidays together at family events.
We had special times hunting and fishing as teenagers and were close during those early years of our lives.
Really  sad that I missed the opportunity to spend some time with him in the later years of our lives.


Jerry was four years younger than I and my memories of him were mainly via my mom and Dad.  They enjoyed taking my younger sister and brother to watch Jerry play basketball.  When my parents were ill just before they passed my mom had a warm visit from Jerry’s parents.  I watched Bill and Bessy  talk of their children with smiles of contentment.  Brenda was always known in the family as Jerry’s perfect match.  Bob and I send our deepest condolences to Brenda and her family.

Jerry Pierce was a great man that will be missed.  It was the two Jer’s at Walbrook Park in Bossier City growing up playing baseball. Jerry Pierce and my dad Jerry Procell.  Lots of great memories and laughs that were made growing up around the a Pierce family.  Jerry was always one of my favorite dad’s to get the opportunity to be around as I grew up in Bossier. He was a genuine person who would help all of us Airline boys out anytime we needed.

To Brend, Jeff, & Ryan: Your in our thoughts and prayers. Jerry will missed and never forgotten. The Procell Family loves you!

I am so sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing.  He was so kind and giving.  I appreciate all the time he gave to coaching all those many many years in Dixie Baseball.   Brenda you and your family will be in my prayers during this difficult time and in the days ahead. 

Jerry and Bren took me with them to our away baseball games-wonderful memories!  Jerry took in all the boys and taught them so much!  They also included me for Christmas Eve dinner when I was by myself.   Jerry was one of a kind and will be so missed!

While I never had the pleasure of meeting Jerry I do know his amazing wife Brenda. Jerry was the love of her life and I always enjoyed her sharing stories of their family and grandkids 
or their amazing adventures and travels to LSU games. Brenda was so devoted to Jerry and I am truly sorry for her loss. May God Bless you and your family.

Great friendships lead to collections of memories which we hold dear in our hearts for a lifetime.  We made many memories together as friends over the decades going back to watching our sons play baseball at Centenary to cruises and trips to watch the Tigers play.  These memories will ease our sense of loss, although not completely now that Jer is no longer with us.  We will miss his wit, opinions aplenty and his endless knowledge.  He practiced one of the great commandments-love and respect your neighbor.  We love you, Jer, and we are better people for having known you.

I could write a book about the adventures of Jer and Gerald.  They were two peas in a pod and loved and admired each other from the moment they met.  Since Gerald's death, Jerry Pierce has helped me out many times.  He had a very rough exterior but a heart of gold and would help anyone who needed it.  I will miss his dry wit and and slanted sense of humor.  I hope they have good fishing holes in heaven.  You are loved and will be missed.

I met Jerry when he and Brenda let me and a friend tag along from the hotel to the LSU game.    Such a wonderful, kind man.   I know I sure appreciated him driving us through all of the traffic and he had prime parking at the game!!  I’ll never forget the kindness  shown.    Brenda  and family, I am truly sorry for your loss.  I know you will miss him terribly.   Prayers for peace.  🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

We loved Jerry from the moment we met.  Had such a great respect for him and his entire family.
