ELM GROVE, LA – Services for Jesse Luther Overstreet will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Reverend Eddie Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m.
Jesse was born on December 25, 1960 to his parents, Jesse Luther and Violet Geneva Overstreet in Springhill, LA. He passed away on May 30, 2015 in Elm Grove, LA. Jesse was a faithful employee at Libby Glass for 34 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse and son, Stephen Wayne Overstreet. Jesse is survived by his mother, Violet Overstreet; wife, Carol Overstreet; two sons, Michael Dale Overstreet and wife Sandra from Benton, LA and Jay Dakota Overstreet from Shreveport, LA and seven grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Lynn Umphries, Johnny Smith, David Clark, Elliot Clark, Mark Bartley, and Robert Oliver. Honorary pallbearers will be Vern DeLuve and Larry Jackson.
