Jesus A. Borja

Jesus Aquingoc Borja “Jesse” was born Nov. 11, 1929 in Guam. He proudly served his country for 20 years in the US Air Force. Following his retirement from the USAF he worked for Louisiana Caterpillar and the Veterans Administration Hospital. He enjoyed spending many hours in his backyard at home in Bossier City where he gardened and bird watched. Mr. Borja passed peacefully on May 29, 0218 at the age of 88.

His loving wife of 50+ years, Florence Perez Borja, his only son, Jess Anthony “Tony” Borja, and his granddaughter, MaryElizabeth Borja, preceded him in death.

His daughters, Denise Borja Key (David) of Bossier City and Teresa Renee Borja of Shreveport, and daughter-in-law Cecilia Borja of Bethany, LA survive him. He leaves behind three cherished grandchildren who lovingly called him “Tata”, Cassandra Key of Bossier City, Jeremy Borja and family (Haley, Brayden, Sopheya and Daniel) of Bethany, LA, and Jess Bethany Borja of Bossier City. Also Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Manuel San Nichols; sister, Maria Bookhart, and brother-in-law, George Perez.

A Graveside service for Jesus Borja is scheduled for 11 AM, Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family welcomes friends to a visitation from 10AM until service time at the funeral home.
