Joan was known for her gentle spirit, infectious sweet nature, and unwavering love for her family. She met her husband and best friend, Noal “Tex” Davis, in 1980, and they have been inseparable ever since. Prior to meeting Tex, Joan had been widowed after eighteen years of marriage to her first husband and father of her two children.
Joan and Tex traveled all over the country, and parts of Canada, in their R.V. visiting and exploring as many National Parks as they could until Tex’s retirement in 2013. She and Tex were members of Faith Community Church for 42 years. Joan’s faith and family were the closest and dearest to her heart.
