This is so very heartbreaking and shocking, I am so sorry for this terrible loss!!!!....Kenny Claude Scott was a very special person. My deepest sympathy and prayers of comfort for his beautiful family. I knew Kenny from his mechanic days way back in 1981, he was a good looking, sweet and thoughtful young man. It is way to soon to lose a sweet Daddy and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers!

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Scott family.  I went to high school with Ken, he was always such a nice person.  I am very glad that we were able to catch up on Face Book over the past few years.   He had not changed a bit, still as sweet as ever.  Rest in peace my friend,  until we meet again.

My deepest condolences and sincerest prayers for all of Kenny's family.  I've known Kenny since 1986.  Haven't talked to him in several years but he was always in my heart and on my mind.  That smile and laugh and of course the dancing are great memories.  I know he'll be missed and know your memories of him will be cherished forever.

When I moved back to Shreveport over 12 yrs ago Kenny was one of the first people I started hanging out with. He helped me move into my new house and I in return  helped him move into his new home. We watched tons of Nascar and drank many a beer. I use to go to ballgames with him to see his daughter play basketball. I even spent one Thanksgiving with him and his family. He use to come over every month and play cards with us as well. We stayed in touch by phone and every time I talked to Kenny it was just like we hadn't missed a beat. He was truly a GREAT FRIEND. I have so many good memories and will truly miss my friend.

The Final Salute

Brothers in Arms, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged Hand Salutes as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another. 

This Hand Salute is the last that we shall render to Kenneth C. Scott Jr. our Brother-in-Arms.   To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Kenneth.   To Kenneth it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country during the Granada Conflict (Operation Urgent Fury) while serving in the U.S. Air Force.  Kenneth, we commend you for your honorable service. You are a true patriot, who served with honor and distinction. You upheld the finest qualities of an American patriot warrior: courage, commitment, generosity, sacrifice, love and devotion to family and country.  You were a true friend.  We bid you a sad farewell.  You will be dearly missed from among our ranks.  Be at Ease.  Rest in Peace.

Ken was a remarkable man and everyone at GBB and SGWS is better for having known him.  It was a joy to work in the presence of Ken. I will remember Ken in many positive ways, with a big smile and a great sense of humor.  He will be in our hearts and memories forever.   Although no words can take away the sorrow his family is going thru . May it be comforting to know that others cared deeply. Ken will be missed by many.  Just a few weeks ago, I saw Ken in passing with his trademark smile.  Despite us never knowing each other real well, he recognized me, and made sure to stop and shake my hand and exchange greetings.  He always had a big smile, exuded happiness, and great character and manners.
