Kimberly Howard Correro

BOSSIER CITY, LA - After a courageous and spirited fight with breast cancer, Kim, age 45, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 27, 2012. Kim was a godly woman who loved Jesus and shared her faith with others. We will celebrate her life at Hill Crest Memorial Park Amphitheater on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Justin Haigler officiating the service. Visitation will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, April 30, 2012 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Interment will be at Hill Crest Memorial Park.

Kim was a member of The Simple Church. Her hobbies included crafts, photography, and journaling.

She was preceded in death by her biological father, George Harold Culpepper, her paternal grandfather, George Culpepper, and her maternal grandfather, James Gilbert Greer, Sr.

She is survived by her husband, Andy Correro, her son, Christian Roberts, her maternal grandmother, Virginia Greer, and paternal grandmother Arveal Culpepper, her father, Keith Howard and wife Teri, her mother Beverly Hayes and Step-Father Ray, her sister Angie Haigler and husband Justin, brother Michael Howard, and youngest sister "Lil' Becky." She is also survived by her stepchildren, Kathryn and Anthony Correro, her in-laws Phil and Fran Corerro, her beloved nieces and nephew Hannah, Emma, and Ian Haigler.

In lieu of flowers, Kim requested that donations be made to a reputable cancer research foundation.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Harmony Life Hospice, The Simple Church Family, and many friends and family for all of their prayers, love, and support.
