Lisa was a woman whose life was rooted deeply in faith, love, and laughter. Her unwavering trust in God was evident to everyone who knew her, and her faith moved others simply by the way she lived it; strong, steady, and full of grace. One of her favorite Bible verses, Psalm 46:5, “God is within her, she will not fall,” served as a source of strength throughout her life and sustained her through even the hardest moments, anchoring her firmly in God’s promises. Lisa fought her battle with incredible strength and courage, never giving up, and facing each day with faith, determination, and grace that inspired those around her.
From childhood into adulthood, Lisa carried a lively spirit that never faded. She approached everything she did with compassion, care, and intention, and she truly cared for every single person she met. Her gentle heart and joyful presence left a lasting impression on all who crossed her path.
Lisa was the designer and co-owner of Ashley’s Building and Remodeling, where she worked alongside her husband, Adam Willard, serving as chief designer. Together, Lisa and Adam also created and wrote the children’s book Excavator Adam and founded their publishing company, Mighty Lamb Books, blending creativity with faith-based storytelling. Lisa was also the owner of Digital Buzz Connection, a marketing and web design company, and was a gifted writer, illustrator, and author.
Her passion for faith-centered guidance led her to create Homes and Souls, a resource offering tools and guidance for learning about God, alongside Briana Ronde. Lisa also created My Ladybug Books, where she served as both author and illustrator, an expression of her love for ladybugs, which she cherished as symbols of joy, protection, and God’s gentle reminders of His presence. In addition, she helped run the Red River Cleanup, generously giving her time and heart to serve her community.
Above all else, Lisa cherished her family. She loved spending time with her husband, Adam, enjoyed shopping trips with friends, and treasured little weekend road trips that brought laughter and connection. Lisa deeply valued quality time with her friends, whom she truly cherished and loved like family. She had a special love for babies, reflecting her nurturing and gentle heart. She was a devoted wife and a loving, caring mother and bonus mom.
Lisa is survived by her loving husband, Adam Willard; her father, John Norman DeGolier; her sons, Brandon Grieve and his fiancée Elizabeth Iliuta, Bryce Iadarola and his wife Astrid Iadarola, and Collin Iadarola and his wife Raquel Iadarola; her daughters, Elizabeth Willard Dancy and her husband Michael Dancy, and Christina Willard and her fiancée Rayshion Cook, and their son, her grandson Soul Cook; her brothers, Joshua DeGolier and Robert; her sister, Amelia Ann Troyer (Mitchell); and her nephews, Logan Troyer and Asher Troyer.
