

On the morning of February 25, 2011, Lois Lynn Darnell passed into the loving arms of her heavenly
Father. Lois was born February 19, 1926, to Lula and Jake Lynn. She worked beside her husband, Printice Darnell, for over 20 years at their dry cleaning establsihment, was the owner of a gift and frame shop and retired from the Bossier Parish Police Jury. She loved cooking for family and friends who know not to ask "what's in this?"
Lois became a member of St. George"s Episcopal Church in the late 50's, taught second grade Sunday School and remained a faithful member.
She is survived by the love her life for 63 years, Printice Darnell, two daughters, Lynnette Pace and husband Randy, Juanice "Neicy" Bass, and step-daughter Ginger Folmer and husband Richard, five grandchildren, John Pace, Mona Pace, Dawn Pace Gonzalez, Kriste Lynne Bass and Sloan Folmer, four great grandchildren, and special rescued friend Sheba.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday February 28, 2011 at St. George's Episcopal Church with the Reverend James E. Flowers officiating. Interment will be in Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2-5 P.M. Sunday at Hill Crest Funeral Home. Pall bearers will be Lynn Togerson, Ken Colgrove, Teague Lampkin, John Chance, Joe Bone, and Hilary Clark.
