I was so sad to hear of Uncle Marion's passing, but I know that he is with his Lord and Savior who he served everyday. 
Our thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Faye and all her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Bro. Marion walked the talk.  God places people (men) in our lives to serve as teachers, role models, and mentors.  I am so thankful that God placed Bro. Marion in mine so many years ago.  He was a big man with a gentle Christ like nature about him.  He deepened my walk with the Lord--just by watching his example. His family is near and dear to my heart.  I love you all.  What a wonderful life and legacy for us all to cherish.  I thank God upon every rememberance of you.....

Marion was a true Christian man and a model for me.I will miss him. May God continue to be with you all in this time.

It makes me sooo sad to read about Mr. Hall's death. He was trully a good man. For many many years he and Mrs.Hall came to the nursing home where I was the activity director. Every week they offered words of comfort and music to our residents. When they left I knew he was having some health issues. Please let Mrs. Hall that she is in my thoughts and prayers. I hope she remembers me. I worked at Nurscare (It was called Irving Place for some time)and my name is Brenda Roppolo.  I know Mr. Hall is in the arms of Jesus - he was a true example of a good and kind man.May you each have peace knowing that.

I will always remember him as one of the most Christ like figures I ever knew. In season and out of season always abounding in the work of the Lord.
I would imagine the sadness of his passing is a sweet sadness, knowing he is with the Lord he served.
I can only imagine the lives his witness touched and always regretted he lived so far away and looked forward to his visits to Tennessee when he was younger and able.
What a good man he was and am so grateful that his wife, children and their children will have that wonderful memory and can be filled with a good pride in remembering him.

The Final Salute

“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another. 

This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to Marion J. Hall our “Brother-in-Arms”.   To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Marion.   And to Marion it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country during WW-II while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.  Marion, you are a true patriot, who served with honor and distinction.  You upheld the finest qualities of an American patriot warrior: courage, commitment, generosity, sacrifice, love and devotion to family and country.  We bid you a sad farewell.  You will be dearly missed from among our ranks.  Be at Ease.  Rest in Peace.
