

BOSSIER CITY, LA-Services for Marvin Muegge, 86, will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jay Valentine of The Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday March, 3, 2015 at Hill Crest Funeral Home.
Marvin was born on May 11, 1928 in Crawford, Texas to parents Alvin and Lillie Muegge and passed away gracefully on February 28, 2015 in Bossier City. Marvin answered the call of his country by enlisting in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of the VFW Post 4588, The American Legion, the Military Order of the Cooties and was most proud of his involvement in the 12th District Honor Guard. He was a pressman for Mid-South Press/ Graphic Industry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife, Ann Broughton Muegge. He is survived by one son, Glenn Muegge and Anna; three daughters, Linda Kaye Falk, Peggy Ann McGinnes and husband Kyle, and Carol Newton and husband Scott; a sister, Evelyn Henderson and husband Bill; a brother, Norman Scott and wife Linda, 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews and special friend, Mary Jones.
The family would like to thank the staff of the NW Louisiana War Veterans Home for the care and love they gave.
