Mary Frances O'Neal Murphy, 74, of Haughton, Louisiana, passed away on January 24, 2025. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on May 27, 1950, Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Regis H. Murphy III; and her granddaughter, Heather Lynne Disotell.
Mary was known for her deep love of reading and her passion for true crime shows, often spending hours lost in a good book or captivated by the latest mystery on TV. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her great-grandchildren, and her family was the heart of her world.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Daniel Pass; estranged son, Shane Daniel; her grandchildren, Logan Disotell (and his children, Ayden, Trenten, and Maddixx Disotell), Kami Benson (and her children, CJ, Aries, and Darcy Benson), Heather's children, Kinsley and Jackson Cantrell, and Shane's daughter, Grace. Mary will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
A private service will be held in honor of her memory. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to any Veteran's Association.
