

DOYLINE, LA – A celebration of life service for Matthew Kirkhart, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 27, 2012, First Baptist Church of Haughton, LA with interment to follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park.
Matthew Taylor Kirkhart was born on January 17, 1998 in Shreveport, LA. God called our Beautiful Angel home on September 16, 2012 to be with him after a tragic accident. Matthew was 14 years old.
Dr. Scott Teutsch will officiate along with Brother Brad Watson and Brother Mike Schultz. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the church.
Matthew was a member of FCA, Haughton High School Band, Percussion Ensemble, Eastwood Baptist Church Youth Group, Glow Team and the Adult / Youth Bowling League. His hobbies included fishing with Papaw, swimming, water sports, gaming, bowling, playing paintball, basketball and hanging with friends.
Matthew was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, R.C. Morgan; great-grandparents, Matt and Marshleen Oden and Karl and Rosalie Jandes; grandfather, Terry L. Kirkhart and aunt, Wendy Kirkhart.
He is survived by his mother, Angie Morgan; brothers, Joshua, Ryan, and Jacob Kirkhart; father, Greg Kirkhart and wife, Nikki; grandparents, Danny and Mattie Morgan; grandmother, Judy Jandes; great-grandmother, Robbie Morgan; Uncle Bubba and Aunt Crystal Morgan; Uncle Kevin and Aunt Agnes Kirkhart; Uncle Scott and Aunt Heather Trowbridge; Aunt, Angie Kirkhart; cousins, Nick and Gabbie Morgan and many other cousins and cherished friends.
Pallbearers will be Danny Morgan, Jacob Fields, Chance Brown, Robin Rice, Sean Edwards, Mr. Bubba Brothers Bradley Bockhouse and Kevin Kirkhart.
Honorary pallbearers will be Nick Morgan, Michael Hayes, Dylan Holiday, D.J. Monroe, Troy Brown, Brandon Shafer, Mason Hooper, Brennon Bockhouse and Joey Moore.
Memorial may be made to the Eastwood Baptist Youth Group or the Haughton High School Band.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to all of the doctors, nurses and medical staff at LSU Medical Center, Christus Schumpert Medical Center, Eastwood Baptist Church, First Baptist Church of Haughton and to everyone who prayed and stood vigil while we mourn the loss of “our precious boy”. Thank you! Your strength gave us strength, your hope gave us hope and your faith gave us faith. God bless you and keep you always.
