Nancy was born January 8, 1948, Shreveport, LA, and went to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 17, 2022. Nancy was retired after 52 years of working for the same group of physicians as an Ophthalmic Technician. After retiring she enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and new puppy, Sophie.
Family and friends will remember her as someone with a servant’s heart who put others needs above her own. Nancy was a child of God and loved the Lord. She was a loving mother and Nana and will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Randall Wilson, her parents, Claude and Lessie Relda Elrod, and brother, Phillip Elrod.
Nancy is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Jared and Stefani Wilson and Ryan and Christy Wilson; brother and his wife, Dean and Lana Elrod; sisters, Susan Fiduccia and Claudia Elrod; seven loved grandchildren, Makenzie, Charles, Connor, Abigail, Jaxon, Elizabeth and Shelby; and many nephews and nieces.
The family would like to extend thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Highland Hospital. Also, to nurse, Sister Suny, for her loving care and attention given to Nancy during this time.
