Patricia Elene Ellis

Bossier City, LA - Services celebrating the life of Patricia Elene Romine Ellis will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday January 13, 2017 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and family for visitation at 1:00pm prior to the service.

Patricia was born May 10, 1935. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend to everyone who knew her.

She had many things that made her heart happy. She loved her family and spending time with them, and she loved to RV with her wonderful husband Charlie. She enjoyed making beautiful quilts and crocheting, always trying to teach her young granddaughters, she enjoyed searching for family genealogy making many trips to the public library. Watching the Lawrence Welk show on TV, always cooking wonderful meals, with enough food to feed an army and listening to papaw's golf game. She gave her love to all that she met. She taught us to have courage and hope and love and reminded us of the preciousness of life.

She is proceeded in death by her one true love Charles Ray Ellis.

She is survived by her sister Peggy Van Wyk, a son Clayton Ellis, two daughters Katherine Ellis and Suzanne Thurman, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed!

Pallbearers will be Charles Ray Ellis II, Chris Cantrell, Casey Cantrell, Sean Cantrell, Ryan Cantrell.

The family would also wish to extend special thanks to Dr. Boyd and his staff for the many years of care and support of Patricia, and to the Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home for the guidance and compassion shown by them during this difficult time.
