Pat was called home by the Lord, and entered into rest December 22, 2021. She passed away from a short illness at Cornerstone Hospital in Bossier City, Louisiana. She was born December 13, 1942 in Springhill, Louisiana, the daughter of Malvern Warren and Florine Rosemary Knighton Jeffers.
Pat graduated from Minden High School, class of 1960. After high school, she became a homemaker and later worked in the retail business. She was very kind and compassionate to all her family and friends. She loved gardening, cooking for family and friends, interior design, and traveling. She married Bobby Joe Morgan from Lake Providence, Louisiana in April, 1996. They had 25 years together and loved each other very much. They also liked to take care of their horses and go to rodeos.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a grandson, Eric Irby. Surviving in addition to her spouse, Bobby Joe Morgan; are her daughters, Lisa McGuire Mayfield, Melanie McGuire Lott and husband Steven, Lori McGuire Allen and husband Justin; and one son, Norman Gregory McGuire and Carol Hernandez. Also, four beloved children by marriage including: Tina Renae Morgan, Vickie Morgan Cravens, Sherri Annette Morgan Taylor and husband Randy; and a son, Bobby Jay Morgan and wife Misty. She is also survived by grandchildren: Ashley, Haley, Amber, Tyler, Jadyn, Jeremy, Cory, Dillon, Brandon, Morgan, Braden, Matthew, and Cammie. Plus, her great-grandchildren: Blake, Macy, Dallas, McKenzie, McKayla, Kelly Ann, Tia, Abby, Sophia, Elijah, Winnie; and one great-great-grandchild, Sammy. She is survived by her cherished sister, Diane James and her husband Bion; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a private memorial January 8, 2022 at Hill Crest in Haughton, Louisiana. Family meant so much to her, and she was dedicated to all.
