Peggy Ann Sherrer Taylor

Peggy passed away on April 17, 2021, leaving this life behind for a much better one with her Lord, Jesus Christ. She was raised in Texarkana, TX but her adult life was spent right here in the Bossier Parish area. She was Chief Radiologist at Schumpert Medical Center for twenty years and a member of Kings Hwy. Christian Church. Peggy and her husband, Jack, were owners of Country Corner in Benton. She enjoyed traveling, playing golf and absolutely loved all recipes!

Peggy is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Jack E. Taylor; daughter, Jacqualyn Taylor Colvin; and her parents. Left to cherish her memory are the greatest loves of her life, her grandchildren, Leigh Anne’ Colvin and Taylor Colvin Bletz; great-grandchildren, Brayden Colvin, Hunter Johnson, Emma Bletz, and D.J. Bletz; her brother, Charles Sherrer and wife Dolores; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A very special thank you goes to her niece, Charla Honeycutt, for all of her loving care, as well as to her granddaughter, Leigh Anne’ Colvin, for her companionship and loving care.
