A Funeral Mass will be held in honor of Becky Oliver on Monday, April 9, 2012 at St. Jude Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Forest Park East, St. Vincent, Shreveport, LA. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at St. Jude Catholic Church from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. with a Vigil service following at 7:00 p.m. Father Pike Thomas will be officiating the service.

Becky graduated from St. Cecilia Academy in Nashville, Tennessee. She was an active member of St. Jude Catholic Church. She was involved in the choir, attended the Theology Class and was a Eucharistic Member.

She was preceded in death by her father, Newton Oliver Best and mother, Doshie Pearl Reyer.

Becky is survived by her husband of 57 years, James Calvin Oliver; two sons, James Patrick Oliver and David Edward Oliver and wife Darleen; two daughters, Kathleen Marie Lipford and husband Randy, Gabrielle Annette Shelton and husband Randy; twelve grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and Godmother, Sister Regina from St. Cecilia Convent.
