Reynold "Ray" Samuel Adams Sr., age 88, of Bossier City, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. He was born December 5, 1934 in Quincy, Massachusetts to the late Augustin and Maude Adams. Ray served this grateful nation enlisted with the United States Air Force. He retired following thirty years of Aircraft Maintenance Management one of his proudest moments as Chief Master Sergeant. Ray enjoyed playing baseball in Gaspe using horse patties. He favorite past-time was woodworking and carpentry. Ray enjoyed traveling and loved german food. He always enjoyed spending time with his family and will be missed by all.
Ray was preceded in passing by his beloved wife; Vivienne Milligan Adams, his parents; six siblings, and one granddaughter; Nikki Sites.
Left to cherish Ray memories will be his five children: Reynold "Ray" S. Adams, Jr., Deborah Sites (James), Gerald Adams (Amanda), Christopher Adams, Kathleen Adams-Shepherd (Richard), numerous grand/great-grandchildren, many extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
A visitation for Ray will be held Friday, June 16, 2023 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, 601 Hwy 80, Haughton, Louisiana 71037.
A graveside celebration will occur Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Hill Crest Memorial Park, 601 Hwy 80, Haughton, Louisiana 71037 with Rev. Jackie Loveless officiating.
Honoring Ray as pallbearers will be Sean Adams, Wesley Adams, Matt Smith, Jacob Sites, Chase Benton and Jordan Calcagno.
