

Robert Boyce Caldwell, Sr., 75 years old, died July 14, 2025 in Bossier City, Louisiana. Robert lived in Bossier City for the past 50 years and was a friend to many, whether you knew him as Bo, Boyce, Bob, or Robert.
Robert leaves behind his wife, Denise Morgan, his sons, Robert B. Caldwell, Jr. and Adam Caldwell (Selena Kremer-Caldwell), and his daughter, Karla Caldwell Fullen. He is survived by his children’s mother, Vickie Holbrook, and his sister, Johnette Burton. Robert leaves a legacy of extended family who cherish the memory of Papaw, including his stepdaughters, Cassie White and Jennifer White; his step-grandchildren Arianna Hallett, Caden White, Cody Lane, and Ethan Gibson.
Robert was born on December 2, 1950 in Benton, Louisiana to John Lewis Caldwell and Myrtis T. Shockley. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather Murphy Waggoner, his stepbrother Joe D. Waggoner, and sisters Margaret Clayton, Maxine Hayes, Shelba Frame, Melby Cotton, and Thelma Walters.
Robert graduated from Benton High School (Class of 1968), attended Northwestern State University, Louisiana Tech, and Bossier Parish Community College. He was a veteran of the United States Navy (1969-1972) rising to the rank of E4 Petty Officer. Robert had a long career in television production, repair, and engineering. He was the owner of Shreveport Television Labs (1975-1982) and he worked in video and live television production at Louisiana Downs (1982-2025). He worked in video production for many other sporting and entertainment events, including NCAA athletics, professional rodeo, boxing, and baseball. Robert enjoyed helping others and could be found fixing almost anything mechanical or electrical to help family, friends, and neighbors. He was an avid fisherman and loved his Labradors.
