Robert Earl "Rob" Shearer Jr.

Services for Robert "Rob" Earl Shearer, Jr., 26, will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday evening between the hours of 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Rob was born on June 2, 1980 in Honolulu, Hawaii and passed away on April 15, 2007 as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was an employee of Halliburton Energy Services, loved his motorcycle and fishing. Rob was a loving husband, son, brother, and grandson.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Norma Shearer. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Heather Shearer; parents, Robert E. and Sam Shearer of Bossier City, LA.; paternal grandfather, Charles Shearer and wife, Betty; maternal grandparents, Leonard and Charlotte Scofield, all of Bossier City, LA.; sister, Stephanie Risher and husband, Steven of Houma, LA.; father and mother-in-law, Jim and Kitty Roat of Bossier City, LA.; brother-in-law, Richard D. Roat of Knoxville, TN.; and nieces, Allison and Megan Risher and Maylin Roat.

Pallbearers will be Charles Shearer, Leonard, Len, Robert and Russell Scofield and Steven Risher. Honorary pallbearers will be the Halliburton Wolfpack Crew along with John Stahl.
