Rosemary "Nanny" Andersch White

Rosemary “Nanny” Andersch White of Sarepta, LA passed away from this life to be in the presence of her Lord and Savior on April 10, 2011 at the age of 83, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Rosemary was born on June 2, 1927 and was raised in Klamath Falls, OR, by her beloved parents Walter Edmond Andersch and Genevieve Berges Andersch. She moved to Louisiana after marrying her husband of 45 years, Robert Hunter White. Rosemary was the beloved mother of four girls; a devoted wife, loving grandmother, sister, aunt, and a good friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a son in law, William “Buddy” Denmon, and a grandson William Robert Denmon. She is survived her four daughters, Elaine Nix and husband Curtis, Mary E. Denmon, Evelyn McDaniel and husband Leonard C., Bobbye Hilburn and husband Jimmy, her sister Elizabeth Igl of Eugene OR; three brothers , Edmond Andersch of Klamath Falls, OR, Dr. Jerry Warren of Burlingame, CA and Robert Andersch of Beaverton, OR; Grandchildren, David Nix, Angelia Nix, Gennafer Nix Sledge, Kathy Denmon, Amy Denmon Powell, Shannon McDaniel, Deanna McDaniel, Nikki Hilburn Vogt, Robert Hilburn; 15 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews, as well as her 97 year old “ oldest “ friend Julia Neely; and numerous other dearly loved friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Springhill, LA with a Rosary following. Services will be held at the same location at 10:00A.M. Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Robert Hilburn, Brian Sledge, Jason Voght, Michael Barber, Jason Wiamer, and Steve Coe. Honorary Pallbearers will be Clyde Greene, Dollie Cruithirds, James Cruithirds, Jimmy Rice, Randy Rice, Randy Rice, and Kevin Rice.

The family wishes to send their sincerest appreciation to Dr. Francisco TurTurro, Jennifer Angelo, and all the nurses and staff at Fiest-Weiller Cancer Center.
