Syble is survived by her husband, Elmore C Owens; daughter Danita "Scooter" Weems and husband Douglas; sister Francis Hillis and sister Martha Ann Jones.
Syble was preceded in death by; father Arthur C. Cross and mother Isabelle Powell Cross; brother Fletcher Cross; brother Ernie Cross; brother Earland Cross; brother James Cross and brother Charles Cross.
A life celebration for Syble will be held Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, 601 Hwy 80 East, Haughton, LA 71037. A visitation will occur Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, 601 Hwy 80 East, Haughton, LA 71037. An interment will occur at 10:00 AM, 601 Hwy 80 East, Haughton, LA 71037-8882.
