Virginia Kimmer

Minden, LA

A Celebration of Life service will be held in honor of Virginia Martin Kimmer on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Chapel, Minden, LA. Her service will be officiated by Rev. Leland Crawford, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Minden, and Rev. Richard Methvin, Pastor of Eastside Baptist Church of Minden. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden, LA. The family will be receiving friends on Monday evening, February 4, 2013 from 5:00 – 7:00 at First Baptist Church Minden in the Reception Room.

Virginia was born on December 20, 1922 in Independence County, Arkansas and went home to be with the Lord on February 2, 2013 in Minden, LA. She was a member of New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Batesville, AR. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and most of all loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Robertson and husband Bill; granddaughters, Beverly Waller and husband Mike, Brenda Weeks and Billy; and grandson, Kyle Robertson. She is also survived by her brother, John C. Martin and wife Jacki of Oil Trough, AR, great granddaughters, Jenna Bone and Jamison Bone of Dallas, TX, Whitney Grisham and husband Cody of Plain Dealing, LA, Chelsi Weeks of Dallas, TX; great great grandson, Trent Harber and also numerous other family members.

Memorials may be made in memory of Virginia Kimmer to New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 3655 Bethesda Road, Batesville, AR 72501.
