

We are here to celebrate the life of Wanda Lou Roark. She was born on October 5, 1940 in Livingston, Texas. She went to be with Jesus on July 26, 2024, at the age of 83 years old. Wanda Lou was born October 5, 1940, in Livingston, Texas.
Wanda was a devoted Christian her entire life and always had a strong faith in God. For over 60 years she taught children’s church. Wanda was an L.V.N. for over 40 years as she loved caring for people. She always showed her love and gentile nature to the patient and to their families.
She is preceded in death by, father, James Hiram Roark; mother, Mable Elaine (McKinnon) Roark; sisters, Peggy Nicar, Joellen Hightower; brothers, Don Roark, Robert Roark; son, James Lee Chapman; and daughter, Perrin Ellen Chapman.
Wanda is survived by, daughters, Carmen Wahl and husband Michael, Connie Chapman; son-in-law, Daryl Hetzel; grandchildren, Magen Reese, Frank Arroyo, Michael and Stephanie Reese, Jessica Hetzel, Timothy Hetzel, Austin and Carla Harris, Andrew and Sarah Wahl, Grant Pape, Kiki Brooks, Juliette Pape, and Kei Herron.
Also remaining to carry on her legacy are, great-grandchildren, Gemma Reese, Nathanial Reese, Kaide Hetzel, Edmund Wahl, Bruce Harris, Emmy Caputo, McKenzie Gordon, Melinda Gordon, Calisa Gordon, and Eliana Hetzel; along with nieces and nephews, Bobby and Irma Statum, Holli Nicar, Joyce Statum, and Tammy Statum.
A Memorial Service in her honor will be held at Bethel Baptist Church, 1:00 PM, August 6, 2024, in Livingston, Texas. Inurnment will follow the service within the Bold Springs Cemetery, Livingston. The address for each service is: 8845 FM 350 N., Livingston, Texas 77351.
Wanda was loved dearly and will be missed forever, and she will live on in our hearts.
