 Barbara and Sergio, I am blessed to had Sandy in my life and I want to share what I think this will be her saying;

When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush of quit birds in circled flight.

Dear Sandy,
You are now with the angels you loved so much,  They were there to welcome you and love you.  I cannot imagine my life without you and our daily multiple calls.  We laughed, we shared, we knew each other's secret.  So my dearest friend and cousin, rest in peace and know you were an angel sent to this earth to touch the lives of so many.

Michael, Allison and family;

It is with deep sorrow that I write this note from Thyra and me.  Michael, your mother was the most outgoing and loving person that this world has lost.  She was just the most wonderful person that I have met in recent years.  I did not meet her until  the evening of the dinner before your wedding. She was such a gorgeous fashion image and a great conversationalist.  When I discovered that the family was in the "pawnshop business", I was ecstatic.  I told her that my education on how to live and live to the fullest, was learnded as a teenager in the business.  She was amazed that I felt so grateful for having worked in the business as a tennager and would attrbute that kind of community service at helping me to become the man that I am today.  One might ask, when did we find the time to talk so much - while we were waking to the restaurant.  This is the kind of person your mom was.  And I am thankful that I had the occasion to meet and enjoy her for the weekemd of your marriage to Allison.

Michael, our hearts go out to you and your family for the loss of your mother.  I am sure that words cannot express how you must be feeling, but we are thinking of and praying for you all.

Christopher and I were lucky enough to be pseudo adopted by the Marano / Goldstein family almost 16 years ago.  Sandy was the most loving, caring, funny, warm, gracious - there just aren't enough adjectives to describe her - person I have ever met.  It shows in the three wonderful people she raised and the nine grandchildren that she loved deeply.  I have such wonderful memories of the times we spent together.  I will truly miss her presence on this earth but I know she is in good company with my mother.  I feel honored to have had the chance to meet her.  I am sending BIG hugs and kisses to Barbara, Linda, Michael and especially Marty.

Michael, Barbara and Linda (and families),  I am so sorry for your loss. I am praying for you all.
