Dearest Jasmine,

I did not know your wonderful son, but to know you, was to know him… a beautiful soul.  My prayers go out to you and your family.  We will one day see our sons again, that is a promise.  Until then, share the memory of him.  The stories and the love.  God bless you.

Regardless of everything, there has always been love between you and me. I remember when we first met—how we used to laugh and joke around all the time. I never thought you’d be gone so soon. Please watch over our daughter and be her guardian angel for me. Right now, she’s too young to understand what’s happening, but I know that when she grows into the incredible young lady she’s meant to be, the reality will hit her hard. I love you, and I miss you, old man.

Hey Cuz! I’m at peace knowing that one day I’ll see you on the other side. I want to thank you for always showing me unconditional love, I’ll miss the headlocks and bear hugs. Thank you for teaching me how to deal with my inner anger, showing me as a man it is ok to express my emotions and be passionate. I feel like we had so many similar characteristics and that’s why you always made sure I made the right decisions to live a good life. I’ll never forget you at all my cousin who was more like a big brother!

To know Uly was to love Uly……just as he was. When he was around you, it was all loud laughing, the life of the party…… overwhelming tight hugs……the type that would suffocate you! 
NOT one bad bone in that child’s body….. his personality never changed. He remained loving and with that unique sense of humor that made us all smile. Raised and surrounded in love. We always felt you were part of us….. part of my family. 

Your mother jazz, your best friend, your queen….. she won’t be alone. We will always talk about you. We will always bring you back in our talks, to honor that part of you that always stood out…..Because we all  know that the bond you two had was like no other……a rare synchronization that you barely see anymore.

What an honor was to know Ulysses, he was such a happy, always smiling, hilarious young man. My thoughts and prayers are with my sweet friend Jasmine and the rest of the family. RIP Ulysses 🙏🏼‼️

My condolences to Uno’s  family in this difficult time. When my family received the news we were devastated. I will never forget all the times Shay, my sisters, and I would all hang out with Uno in the garage for hours joking and laughing. I will always remember your loud contagious laugh that would light up a room or you screaming out “YO LIL SIS” when you would see me walking around Gardens.
