Agnes Irene Johnson

Aggie worked for General Telephone which became Verizon for over 16 years before she retired. She was an avid reader, liked to make quilts for all her family members and organized a Bunco club that is still going strong today.

Aggie was married to the love of her life, Edward "Vic"Johnson for over 55 years before he passed away in 2003. They traveled throughout the US as well as abroad. Her favorite place to visit was Australia.

She was an active member of the Hemet United Methodist Church for over 20 years. Her family describes her as a loving person who always put her family first. She loved children & treasured her friendships.

Surviving are daughters, Beth Suarez (Lou); Karen Reiff (Mike); and Vickie Garcia (Martin), daughter-in-law Roni Mayben Johnson, brother, Jake McCamey (Carol); sister, Joan Shaner, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren & many nieces & nephews. Aggie was preceded in death by her 2 sons, Bruce Johnson & Brian Johnson.

A Memorial service will be held at the Hemet United Methodist Church, 530 S. Buena Vista St, Hemet CA on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 11:00AM. Interment will be private at Franklin Cemetery, Franklin, PA.
