Ana Lilia Padilla, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, was born on August 16, 1946, in Estación Corral, Cajeme, Sonora, Mexico. She passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024—her favorite holiday—surrounded by the love of her children and grandchildren in her home in Hemet, CA.
Ana was a devoted mother to Lilia Guadalupe Padilla, Monica Adriana Estanislao, and Xavier Padilla Jr. Her grandchildren, Joanna and Isaac, were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Ana’s unwavering love and kindness will forever remain in their hearts.
Known affectionately as "Kiki" by her siblings, Ana's joyful spirit, warmth, and outgoing personality left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her laughter could fill a room, and her presence brought comfort and happiness to those around her. She was a constant source of strength and encouragement to her family, who will miss her dearly but find comfort in the beautiful memories she created.
She is survived by her best friend and "comadre," Noemi Padilla, and her loving siblings Maria Antonieta, Claudia Figueroa, Rosa Elvia, Faustina, Alba Gabriela, Francisco, and Arnoldo Figueroa of Sonora, Mexico.
Ana was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Xavier Padilla of Buenavista, Michoacán, Mexico, and her parents, Isaac Figueroa Jusacamea of Cócorit, Río Yaqui, Cajeme, and Guadalupe Zepeda Gómez of La Piedad, Distrito Federal, Mexico.
Her family asks that she be remembered not with sadness but for the immense love and joy she brought into their lives. Ana’s legacy of compassion, strength, and boundless love will continue to inspire all who knew her.
A celebration of life and private burial will be held at a later date to honor her beautiful spirit.
May the love of God and the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ bless and console us and gently wipe every tear from our eyes: in the name of the Father, and the son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
