Angela Hernandez, age 101, of San Jacinto, CA, passed away and arrived at the Heavenly gates Saturday, February 22, 2014. Angela was born in Morenci, Arizona on June 23, 1912. She was the daughter of the late Casimiro Hernandez and the late Lazara Ruiz.
Angela was a laborer in the agriculture profession for 30 years. Her family describes her as a hard worker and a great cook who made the best flour tortillas and menudo. Angela enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, going to the movies and yard sales. Angela always had a sweet tooth and a love for lemon meringue pie and pan dulce.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Agustin & Maria Hernandez, her son Manuel Estrada, her grandsons Manuel Hernandez and Vincent Velazquez.
She is survived by her children Patricia Hernandez, Marcy Estrada, Frank Estrada, Rudy Estrada, Amelia Velazquez, Irene Hernandez, Carmen Martinez, 29 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
