

Arthur George Ludemann passed away on June 15, 2024, at the age of 84. He was born on January 3, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York to George Andrew Ludemann & Emilie Anne Williams. He spent his childhood & teen years in Williamsburg, NY.
In 1960, Art enlisted in the US Army & served as a Specialist & was stationed in Huntsville, Alabama. He met his wife Elizabeth “Betty” who was a teller at the bank where he was a customer. On March 3, 1963 they were married in Brooklyn, New York. After his time of service in the Army, Arthur & Betty relocated to La Puente, California & eventually purchased a home in El Monte, California where they would establish their lives as a family for 30 years. They adopted their son, Chris in 1972 & in 1975 their family was completed with the adoption of their daughter, M'lee.
Art was a hardworking individual, working multiple jobs before he retired as a Controller for GP Color in Los Angeles, California. After retirement, Art & Betty relocated to Hemet, California where they spent the remainder of their lives. Betty passed away on October 2, 2014 & Art then spent the next 9 years working on his hobbies & enjoying his retired life. Art’s hobbies included drawing, cooking & watching movies. What he enjoyed most was having conversations with many people. He was a very dedicated husband & father. He is survived by his son Chris, daughter M’lee, grandchildren Josh, Natalie & Taylor, nieces Karen & Donna, & nephew David. Though Art may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those he touched.
A memorial service for Arthur will be held Friday, July 5, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at Miller-Jones Mortuary and Crematory, 23618 Sunnymead Blvd, Moreno Valley, CA 92553. Following the memorial service will be a graveside service from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518.
