Barbara Ellen Young

Barbara Ellen Young was born in Tupelo, Mississippi on May 7, 1950, to Mr. Lester Bean and Mrs. Midred Bean(predeceased). Barbara's birth was a ray of sunshine to the Bean family as were all the births of her four sisters, Roberta, Sally(predeseased), Martha, and Paula and one her one brother, Richard.

Barbara was a pistol from the day she was born, she was the life of the Bean household and of the party too. She loved to dance and won every dance contest she entered. Her sisters remember with great fondness the times they all shared together, dancing the night away at the Green Onion Bar in San Diego, CA. Barbara was genuine, loving, and very artistic, she was a graphic artist at heart and enjoyed her trade for 25 years. Barbara was also a master Bingo Player.

Barbara is loved by many family and friends including her beloved husband, Mark Young. Her smile and warm embrace will be missed by al who were lucky to have crossed her path.

Amongst all the wonderful times in Barbara's life, there was no comperision to the joy her daughter, Monica Cruse brought to her life. With a broken heart, Barbara had to endure the death of her only child. Barbara Ellen Young, at the age of 68, of Sun City, CA, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018, leaving behind a great void. Her laughter, optimisim, and love will always be cheriched by her loved ones.
