She raised her children in Compton, California. She loved music and dancing. She took her young family to the famous "Town Hall Party", where they experienced performances by Johnny Cash, Wayne Newton, Willie Nelson and even.... Annie Oakley! And of course, a delightful snack bar.
Betty was a volunteer for many years with the Church of the Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed playing bingo and would travel with her best friend, Joyce Martin, to various locations such as Laughlin, for wonderful 3-day weekend getaways.
She was a helpful, loving and loyal Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great, Great Grandmother. She was always proud of her children.
Betty touched many lives and will be truly missed by a host of family members and friends and all those who were honored to know her and who loved her.
