Born Saturday, August 7, 1926, Charles was the son of the late Charles Collins and the late Mary Adams Collins. Charles lived a full life, filled with the love of his wife and many family and friends. Charles proudly served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy. He later became a Homicide Detective for the Los Angeles Police Department, where he made a lasting impact on the community with his attention to detail and the care he showed towards the families he served.
Charles Eldon Collins is survived by his loving wife, Elsie Martin and many caring friends.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Living Waters Hospice, the care and support Living Waters Hospice offered Charles and Elsie was and continues to surpass the expectations of the family.
A private Interment will take place at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California.
