Charles Edward McNeal, age 88 of Sun City, California, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015. He was born Sunday, July 11, 1926, in Barry, Illinois, to the late William McNeal and the late Thelma Askew McNeal.
Charlie taught high school biology in Illinois before moving to California where he continued teaching in the San Bernardino schools. When time permitted Charlie and Sue loved to travel. They often went camping in their travel trailer with groups of family and their many friends. Their cruise to Alaska was perhaps a most cherished travel experience together. He will always be remembered as good fun and a good friend.
Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Susan McNeal; son, Mark McNeal; daughter, Mary Sneddon and granddaughter, Megan Sneddon.
Interment will be held privately in the Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California.
