On the evening of June 6, 2024 Cruz Soto Lopez Sr. passed away peacefully due to natural causes in his home in Hemet California. Cruz was born in Anaheim, California. He was a painter in the Aerospace industry for over 20 years. Cruz served our country proudly in the Army during WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife Rose Lopez and 3 children Cruz Soto Lopez Jr., Debra Esping and Paulette Stratford.
Cruz is survived by his 2 daughters Rose M. Wetzel and Florine A Pederson. He will be greatly missed by his family. He is now in the presence of our Lord. Cruz was 99 years old.
A visitation for Cruz will be held Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at McWane Family Funeral Home, 350 N San Jacinto St., Hemet, CA 92543. A funeral service to follow at 9:30 AM. A graveside service will be at Riverside National Cemetery at 11:30 AM.
